Produce a Commercial to Increase the Sales by Alexandra Burlacu

GACKT - The Next Decade [Single] [CD+DVD]Image by kozika via Flickr
Advertising is one of the best methods used to boost the sales. Producing a commercial will expose you a lot easier and without many efforts to the category of buyers you want to reach. The best way to produce a commercial is hire a Video Production Service. First of all, inform on the commercials they produced, how effective they were and establish an appointment to offer you the best ideas and tips. You can think about a scenario for the commercial or let them do this job for you.
The commercial usually runs 30 seconds and these are the main steps for producing it:
- Think about the way the commercial would look like, and draw it out on a story-board
- Write the script. You can use a background version instead of having a person in the video, this saves money
- Before adding the voice-over, record a scratch track
- In order to know how much footage needs to be shot, you should get timings from the script
- Don 't forget to shoot more footage than how much the commercial requires in order to avoid re-shooting
- Before editing the footage, make sure you have a DVD dub to include time code numbers. If the footage needs some cuts, then it would be much easier
- Add the voice-over; you can also add some background music to make the commercial more powerful
- Send the footage to the video production service to edit it and mix it. Professional production companies are more expensive, but keep in mind that efficiency always saves money. Then the company gives you a broadcast dub and a master edit, in case you need to make changes later on
When doing business, take advantage of everything and keep in mind that commercials have a great impact on people 's mind and bring you more profits and success.
Alexandra is the editor of this article, but she also started a new project about regulated power supply. This is a website which also provides more info about medicals power supply.

How to Make More Money With Business Networking by Wayne Andrew Davies

High Speed Business Networking Event (Paris, 2...Image via Wikipedia

Most people in business don't start out with the skills necessary to make a profit out of networking. These skills have to be learned, and then put into practise at networking events.

You won't make a sale at the meeting

Nobody makes a sale at a business networking meeting. It may happen every now and then, but for the most part people aren't going to buy your product or service on the basis of a short conversation.

Despite this, many people turn up at networking events and try to sell their product or service. This is counter-productive.

At best, you'll be lucky enough to meet somebody in the market for your product or service at that exact moment, and the person you're speaking to may refer themselves to you. This is highly unlikely, which is why attempting to sell your product or service at networking events is pointless.

Generate a reason to follow up

Highly successful business networkers know the real value in networking comes from the relationships you build. These develop over time, so your best bet is to find a reason to call this person back.

In most cases, that reason needs to be entirely positive on the part of the other person. That is, you're calling back with good news. I don't mean 'fake' good news such as 'our sale just started'. I mean something the other person genuinely wants to hear.

My view is the best way to follow up somebody is with a referral. That way, the person you're calling really will want to talk to you. What's more, they'll come to realise you're a person worth knowing (i.e. a source of referrals). That person now has a self-interest in strengthening the relationship.

To generate a referral, you need to know more about the other person and their business. That means you need to get that person talking. You need to understand what they do, and the sort of people they're looking to do business with.

Get the other person talking

Most people approach networking with the idea that they have to talk at as many people as possible, in the hope they'll find someone ready to buy.

It's far more effective to let the other person do the talking, but on your terms. The information you need to know is...

* What business they're in
* What's special about them/what they have to offer
* Who they want to do business with

You might simply ask, but in most countries that would come across as rude and is unlikely to leave the person with a positive view of you. It's far better to ask open questions that invite the other person to talk, and then focus your questions as more information is revealed.

Here is a set of excellent questions you can ask to get the conversation going...

1. Hello, I'm Wayne. What's you're name?
2. What business are you in (their name)?
3. How did you get started in (their business)?
4. That must throw up some challenges. What's the most challenging (or interesting or fun or profitable) situation you've encountered?

While the other person is talking, your job is to listen and look out for referral opportunities for that person. It's highly likely something they say will spark a memory, and present you with a referral opportunity.

If it does you can then say "You know, a client (or friend or relative or colleague or supplier) is always (or was just) saying they were looking for (or were having trouble with) that. Would you be interested in an introduction?"

Assuming the other person answers "yes", you must now arrange the introduction. This is something you'll do after the networking event, so you need to get the other person's contact details and arrange a time to call back.

In doing so, you've accomplished 3 important business networking goals...

1. The other person will remember you
2. You've started a business relationship
3. You have a legitimate reason to call back. And when you do, the other person will want to hear from you

Even if you subsequently discover your contact is no longer looking for the product or service in question (e.g. they may already have found a supplier since you talked), you'll still have to call back. And in doing so, you've opened the door for more networking activity.

What about your business?

This approach to business networking isn't about sharing what you do with the other person. It's about getting permission to follow up quickly.

The real activity in business networking occurs during follow up, rather than during a network event.

What you really need is more time to explain what you do, and permission to do so. And the way to get that is to arrange a one-to-one meeting.

The one-to-one meeting

Having followed up, you're now free to suggest a one-to-one meeting. You can do so by telling the other person that you're interested in finding out whether there is scope for the two of you to work together.

This may be as a supplier to their business, or alongside their business in a manner that allows you both to explore new business opportunities that wouldn't otherwise be available to you as individuals. Or it may be their business is ahead of yours in the supply chain, so they meet your clients before you do (e.g. a web designer usually meets a client before an SEO guy). If that's the case, they will probably be a great source of referrals for you.

In most cases, the other person will agree to meet simply because you've expended effort on their behalf and they'll feel a need to reciprocate.

During the follow up meeting, you will have an opportunity to explain what you do and how they can help. Even better, you'll have a lot more time free of any distractions.

Wayne Davies is an online marketing specialist based in London. He's a member of BNI West Hampstead, and regularly visits business networking events.

How to Write Your First Ebook by Bryan Quinn

Writing your first ebook may seem like a daunting task. But like many projects, it won't seem so bad when it's broken down into manageable chunks. Not all projects are successful, so don't be too disappointed if your first ebook isn't a best seller. Whatever the outcome of your first ebook, you can at least say 'You did it'.

Like many things in life, what often seems impossible can be attained with the right attitude and the right equipment. It could be a marathon run, climbing a mountain or finding parking space at the supermarket.

If you want to play golf, you will need clubs, balls and some practice. There's no guarantee you will become another Tiger Woods but you will become a golfer.

If you want to write an ebook, you will need a computer, software and some directions. Assuming you have a computer and software or access to them, here are some directions.

Establish Your Reasons

Your reasons for wanting to write an ebook will have a major impact on your success. It may be for financial gain, promoting a business, advancing your career, education, self satisfaction or something entirely different. Whatever your reasons, write them down. It will help to motivate you if the going gets tough.

Choose Your Subject

There are countless subjects that you can write about. It's wise to choose something you have an interest in or knowledge of. It is worthwhile spending time on this. The more you know about your subject, the easier it will be to write about.

Choose Your Title

After you've chosen your subject, you'll need a title for the ebook. It's worth writing down a few different ones before deciding on the one you'll use. This will help to keep your focus and may give you some other ideas. The title should give a clear indication of the content in your book. A catchy title may help to sell it, but remember to balance this with clarity to keep it in context. I've written down two examples. Feel free to use them if you have a sense of humor.

A Clubbers Paradise - Golfing in Ibiza

20 Minutes Late - The Future of Trains

Choose Your Audience

The subject and style of your writing will determine your audience. Decide who your desired audience will be. Age, gender, culture, social background and education are factors you may want to consider. What you write should be targeted at your desired audience.

Write Your Thesis Statement

Although it's possible to write your ebook without a 'thesis statement', it is not recommended. If you are unfamiliar with this term, there are many sources available that will provide you with all the details you need. Unfortunately, there are some differences of opinion that may lead to confusion.

The 'thesis statement' deserves a separate article of its own but for now I have written a general definition of a thesis statement for ebooks. This may leave the door open for criticism but is a small price to pay if it removes some of the confusion. More importantly, it will give you a base on which to start. Only use it as a guideline. If you want a more specific definition, Google is a good place to start your search.

A thesis statement is a sentence or two written to clearly show the reason(s) for your ebook and what you expect to write about.

Although I have referred to this as a general definition, keep in mind that your actual statement should be as specific as possible.

Think of it as the foundation for your ebook. It should contain the following:

1) Your subject

2) Your opinion on the subject

3) A supporting reason for your opinion

4) The significance of 1), 2) and 3)

Create Your Document

Now that you have the foundation, you can begin writing.
A standard application like MS Word is a good choice.
While you are writing your document you can revise your thesis statement at any time up until it is published. This provides a good degree of flexibility.

Choose the format and layout of your document, including chapters, headings and introductions. Dependent on your subject, you may wish to add photographs, anecdotes or testimonials that keep the reader's attention.

Since an ebook is generally read from a screen, you may want to break up the text more than in a printed book. Experiment with a few different fonts and look at other ebooks for ideas you can use. Spell check and save your document regularly. MS Word has an auto recovery feature. This is useful if you don't save the document on a regular basis and later experience a system crash. Always backup your document. As a precaution you should also keep a copy on another media such as CD.

Choose Your Ebook Format

This is a personal choice. You may decide to create an executable (.exe) file or a Portable Document Format (.pdf) file. By no means an exhaustive list, here are some points to consider before you choose.

EXE files are compiled using an ebook compiler

EXE files may offer features that are not available with PDFs

EXE files can only be read on a PC

EXE files don't require any other software to be read

EXE files are easy to open, easily branded, and good viral marketing tools

EXE files may be susceptible to viruses although some compilers offer virus protection

More information on the better compilers can be found at

http://www.ebook-site.com/ebook-compilers.html

PDF files can be created using Adobe Acrobat

PDF files can be created with several other 3rd party applications

PDF files are an industry standard

PDF files can be read by both PC and MAC

PDF files require Adobe Reader to be read

PDF files are highly unlikely to become infected

More information on PDFs can be found on the Adobe website

Create Your Ebook

Create your ebook in your chosen format.
Congratulations you are now an author.

Domain For Sale - Tips For Domain Buying by Dorothy J Bellisario

A screenshot of the default WordPress theme.Image via Wikipedia

Need to purchase a domain for sale? Unsure where to check? Well, I have got a bit of solutions for you personally. Having your very own domain name is actually the first step to having an effective online business. Lots of people mistakenly believe that it really is ok to choose the free of charge services such as Yahoo, WordPress or Blogger. If you are just creating a blog to help you connect with family or friends than that's a great way to go about it, but if you're attempting to make money on the internet there are many reasons why that isn't the very best strategy.

To begin with, usually when you use the free of charge services you never own anything. You might be at the mercy of the company, as well as their own policies. When they decide they do not like some thing inside your blog they are able to pull the plug, and they aren't required to warn you or provide you with a reason. You won't want to spend weeks, months or years accumulating a prosperous business to just wake up some day and discover that your website has been offline.

Second is actually that you would like to brand yourself. As you build your business you want to gain name recognition. This is a very important component to any kind of prosperous business and without your personal domain name it's practically impossible. If you work with free of charge services it simply enables you to appear less than professional, this is particularly negative if you are trying to build yourself up as a teacher in a certain field.

Now that I've convinced you that you need to invest in your own domain names, you need to know how to pick the best name and where to buy one. For most people the best way to pick out a good domain name is to start with keyword research. Pick a list of highly searched keywords in your niche market and then try to get those exact keywords as domain names.

For example, if your niche is dog training and you find a great keyword: Quick and easy dog training. Than you would try to get QuickAndEasyDogTraining.com as your domain name. You do want to keep the domain name around 3 or 4 words max, but with a domain name like this you will get a ton of free traffic since your domain name is the exact search term people are looking for.

Now that you've decided on what your domain names should be you can go to places like GoDaddy.com or DomainCheapsters.com and do a search to see if the domain name you want is available. Many times it won't be, that's why it's important to have quite a long list of possible names. I personally recommend using other extensions than just a.com. I've found that I have just as good luck with a.net or.org (it can also be easier to get one of these extensions). If you buy just one domain name at a time for a one year period it's usually around $10 a year. You can get a discount if you buy more than one domain name at a time or if you buy it for several years in advance.

I personally don't buy my domain names for more than a year at a time at first, true you'll have to renew it in a year (the company you bought it from will let you know when it needs to be renewed) but why pay for several years for a domain name that might not be a moneymaker? I personally like to pay for one year until I know whether or not I've found a moneymaking niche, when I know I've got a profitable niche on my hands I'll pay for several years in advance.

There you go, everything you need to know when it comes time to find a domain for sale. Having your own domain name is one of the most important steps in building a profitable online empire.

Advertising - Feedback, Theory, and Application By Steve Ong by Steve Ong

NOT FOR MARKETING OR ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS) S...Image by Getty Images via @daylife

This article is the most awaited that people are waiting for. Advertising strikes anywhere, there are many ways to be applied such as television, newspaper, and radio. Aside from tri-media it can be billboards that can be seen along the highways, internet ads which can be seen in the computer in order to be an instant transaction. The most important thing in advertising is how to promote the product?

Readers and viewers must know the background or feedback of advertising and why is it still exist till present? According to Norman Douglas, an English writer said that " You can tell the ideals of a nation by its advertisements." This saying still exist because it focus in a global society. They must take note that Advertising is a paid communication about goods, services, ideas or institutions through the mass media design to inform and/or influence one or more people in accordance with the intent of the advertiser and this meaning came from Isabelo T. Crisostomo's book title "Advertising:Background, Theory and Practice".

The next part will be theories applied in advertising. Readers and viewers must be serious about my article because it composed the contents of history, psychology, sociology, marketing, mass communication, and lastly in business field. Mass communication is an art because it deals with communication and there is a sign of development. According to Crisostomo, "Mass communication is the transmission of messages and information of messages and information to an undetermined number of people through any of the mass media." This field is known as the channels of communication. In business, once you have an establishment, it is called advertising agency. This is an advertising triad to the community because it has something to relate with the advertiser, the advertising agency and the medium. According to the review article profile of Concepcion and Yumol, "Advertising agency is an independent organization which is established and operated for the purpose of counselling on creating, producing, and educate consumers on the availability products or services." This meaning can help the level of professionalism in global society.

The last part of my article will be application because this will see the people how will show their credibility in an actual output. In my own opinion, to practice in advertising is a serious task. Only ten percent is the research output while the remaining ninety percent is the real job to be shown by the clients in order to be inspired as long as it shows creativity because that is the sign of an art work. The example for this is election campaign period. Once the candidate runs for designated position, they cannot win without an election materials and if in case they win the battle, it will create an economic waste. Readers and viewers must know that advertising cannot tell a lie because it tells the truth to the public. The people must know that what is the product or service they are catering?, what does the product means to the public? The position of the product will be based on the markers of which profile they monitor? what are the key benefits they can set it up? in markers, where does it based? The characters that product they will focus more on mechanics, language, not literally, reactions in order to know the clients reactions, different personalities, major differences, ethics whether ethical or unethical, communicate and understanding, what attracts to the customers, and the most important is top of their mind. What motivates people is in the field of Sociology, Psychology, History. People are not statistics because it will describe the person how accurate they are?

51 Surefire Ways To Make Money Online by Doug P

The money making tips are by no means in chronological order but are in a sparse format just like my brain so sorry for not categorizing this content but its not too bad for 100% free information. Disclaimer: Free information, no promises of increase of income by reading this info What you do with this information is your decision and even though i want everyone who read this to make massive money i cant guarantee any result of income.

1. Write an info product for a well established niche, this is one of the easiest ways that i use to constantly make money online :). If your info product has anything new or innovative then it should sell well. However, just don't write the ebook! Build a business. Gather visitors emails that comes to your site and offer them complimentary products through affiliate programs. Go ahead and offer upsells, and backends, and memberships for recurring income. If your just offering an ebook your leaving potential of thousands and thousands of dollars right on the dinner table, don't think of it as "YES! I made a sale," think of it as a real business and increasing the amount of profits you make per sale.

2. Start your own online country, thats right. What i mean by this is basically your own unique online community that is catered towards a group of people that allows them to share content and information with each other. Look at myspace, facebook, and youtube. Million and Billion dollar ideas in just a couple of years.

3. Build your virtual real estate. I'm not too much of a adsense site type of guy, im into building businesses instead, i prefer making social networking sites that will gather people's attention... and a good way to go about this is make it FREE, thats the magic word. Once you get people to register to your site you can then allow them to share it with their friends which will help make your site grow bigger. If your website is getting traffic then you can monetize off this with adsense or by selling advertising which can be a killer money maker by you literally doing nothing.

4. Help a friend get a job. Its funny while your out to start working for yourself, you are out to know help connect people you know with better jobs. Many people are looking for jobs, just take for instance craigslist one of the most populated websites in the world has a large section for connecting employers and job seekers. Also, monster.com is also a huge network for connecting employers with job seekers as well. If you can help connect someone then the rewards could be huge, as big as in the 1000 range, not really no chicken change. Some services that you can look into is [https://www.h3.com/welcome.html] and http://www.jobthread.com/

5. Advertise and sell other people's products from your website which is known as affiliate marketing which is such a hot field because people are looking for ways to make money online without having their own product, and this is one that you can accomplish this. Some affiliate networks to check are commission junction, amazon, and linkshare. The popular one for selling digital product is clickbank.

6. Sell yourself :). Now, don't get it the wrong way. There are some sites online known as freelance services in which web masters or companies will pay you money if you do certain tasks for them. If you can build websites, program, or do any other technical skills then join these sites.

7. Write. This is something that anyone can do and there are no technical skills required except being able to use the computer and research. Look for writing jobs on freelance services. It will help to have a portfolio of some of your writings in order to help increase your chances of getting chosen.

8. Do you take pictures? You can sell licenses to web masters or individuals to use the photos that you take and you can usually charge a good amount for these as well.

9. Assist businesses. Yes, businesses and web masters always need help and you can help them with everyday tasks by becoming their virtual assistant.

10. Know something about a subject and love to talk? Well, you will love blogging. Blog about the topic and write in a manner that attracts people. You can monetize your site with adsense, sell affiliate programs, sell advertising, you name it. http://www.blogger.com is a free blogging software.

11. Don't know a thing? No worries you are not alone, but that shouldn't stop you from blogging as it doesn't stop others, you can still make money just by blogging on topics that are interesting. You can blog about your everyday tasks, blog about your plans to lose weight, or blog about your plans to make money. Some marketers have started money making challenges such as the 30K challenge, or Willie Crawford's 1 million in 90 days challenge. These type of challenges can gather huge interests in people.

12. Fill a need. I own and frequent many forums and i have come to a conclusion that people love to complain. Thats great! Whatever they are complaining about provide them a solution, this equals more money in your wallet.

13. Make money by managing domain names. For example, domain name services like sedo and afternic gets paid just for regulating domain names. This can be nice steady income for having no products to sell yourself, or by not even selling other people's products... but just by being the middleman.

14. Buy and resell domain names for quick cash. I once purchased a domain name at the right time and then flipped it for $200. Domain name flipping takes some time to master like any other skill though.

15. Purchase a domain name, build up the pr (pagerank), gain backlinks, and then sell the domain name. If you can get a pr6 domain name then you should be able to sell this for a hundred or two on ebay.

16. If you can find a domain name that is keyword rich and is getting steady traffic then purchase it and park it and watch the money come in overtime.

17. Build a house and flip it. By this i mean purchase a domain name and build a website for it and then try and sell it for profit. A popular site to sell websites is sitepoint:http://www.sitepoint.com/

18. Get paid to post in forums. I would only recommend this if you're looking for quick side cash because this is by no means a way to make a killing online. Some web masters will pay individuals to make posts at forums. Sometimes, an individual has a new forum up and running and want to get it active so they will pay individuals to post there under multiple usernames. Or, web masters could pay individuals to post on forums so that they can get more traffic to their website through signatures. Or, a webmaster could be the owner of a forum and pay forum users for each post they make in order to help them stay, and in order to help build up traffic to the forum as well.

19. Go ahead and try to start your own article directory, but you better do something to make it unique and beneficial to the article submitter. Whats going to make an individual submit to your article directory as opposed to ones that they are accustom to submitting to and "plus" get results with. The good news is most of the other article directories are doing pretty much the same exact thing that everyone else is doing, you just have to be that much different and find your unique positioning.

20. Learn the ins and outs about a large network and teach people how to use it effectively, become an expert in that field. For example, look at ebay. Even though it may be simple to use to the average Internet browser, there are still tons of people offline that has no idea about the ins or outs about it. This can be an easy way to make some extra money. Some offline services charge people a whopping sum of money just to sell their products for them on ebay, so that is something for you to think about.

21. Think of a crazy innovative idea thats newsworthy. Ever heard of the milliondollarhomepage, http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com selling worthless links? Well, it got in the news and people swarmed to the site, proof that its not incredibly hard to make big money online.

22. Moderate forums, some forums get crazy traffic and some of them also get crazy amounts of spam that needs to be moderated...badly.

23. Make funny videos and then register for an account here http://www.thevideosense.com/ and post them.

24. If you are technical then offer support for software programs especially wordpress. People are always having issues with this software and there is money to be made by installing and customizing wordpress blogs.

25. If you like surfing the Internet then AGLOCO is a program that pays you for your browsing information (at the stake of your privacy though). You will need to download their tool bar into your desktop.

26. Sell tools and useful items to myspace users like templates, layouts, and backgrounds. Too many marketers try to spam this service which is against their tos, so just build real friends and sell them cheap items that they can use on myspace, easy money! Make money on myspace by selling users things that they can use while they are on myspace.

27. Write a newsletter and im talking about a real one. A list of subscribers is an incredible asset for your business because you can keep selling to those people over and over again but at least give some good content instead of only emailing when you have something to promote. You can promote your products as long as affiliates once you build trust with your subscribers.

28. Build your own forum. There are plenty of free scripts out there that will aid you in the process such as phpbb: http://www.phpbb.com/downloads/ or simplemachines: http://www.simplemachines.org/download/.
